Defender Rear Jump Seat Installation
I wanted the ability to carry a few more people, but the bench seat takes up too much room. And getting back there to sit in the bench seat is awkward at best. Jump seats were the perfect solution. The only NAS jump seats came in either cloth or gray vinyl. No good for a black vehicle! Lucky for me, TLR carries some black vinyl seats from the UK which were perfect. And Rovers Down South was running a special on genuine Land Rover lap belts.
After careful consideration, I opted to mount them on the same side - my passengers' knees won't bump into each other and it offered me a more-efficient cargo layout - especially for hauling drum cases. And putting them both on the driver's side has a major advantage: better visibility where you need it most!
