Rover 3.9 Top-End Overhaul

My intake gasket sprung a leak, so I took off the manifold to fix it, then decided to dig deeper... a LOT deeper. The head gaskets were replaced with upgraded composite ones and the heads were given a valve job. And, of course, everything was cleaned up.

The 3.9 heads back from the machine shop, ready for install.

It's a shame these will get dirty when the car gets started again.

Block and pistons: all clean and ready for reassembly.

Fast forward quite a bit: it's getting closer.

The "O.R."

There's still quite a bit to do...

Fast forward a little while longer... Done!
