Frame progress

Inching closer; now I can see the light at the end of the tunnel... for the first half, at least. It takes many times longer to put everything back onto the frame than to take the bits off... at least, when you're a one-man operation. Countless hours have been spent cleaning and refinishing parts that are to be re-used. Also, it takes about 30 minutes to get to the hardware store and back if I need bolts (and I've needed plenty). I tried to stock up on things that I knew I would need, but there are always varying sizes of washers, etc. that I don't have.

Front suspension and brakes mostly finished.

Angle drive cap sealed in place

Skipping ahead a bit, the front wheels have been put on, the jack stands have been removed, and the frame is rolling!

Cooling system pipes and hoses connected... most of them anyway.

Closer to the finish line.

The steering rack is in; I did a somewhat cursory cleaning/repainting - I suspect this could be a part that I replace at some point relatively soon.

Less parts on the floor, more parts on the car!
