Attempted Fuel Accumulator Replacement
That's right: attempted. I was all set to replace my fuel accumulator when I noticed a small dab of fuel on the recently-replaced fuel filter's right angle fitting. A leak! That would have to be replaced first. Then I destroyed my filter trying to remove it and had to go to Kirk's to pick up an extra (thanks, Kirk!).
The fuel accumulator resides in this *spacious* location within the frame.
Update: Replacement
At some point between then and now (Feb 2006), I replaced my accumulator for the first time during my ownership of this car. R&R is about as simple as it gets, just be sure not to bend any of those rigid lines! And make sure to use new hose clamps - that one got me on the return line.
