N6500E vs. the Tornado

On March 3, 2020 an EF3+ tornado ripped through middle Tennessee. One of the hardest-hit areas was John C. Tune airport (JWN) in Nashville, which was hit at approximately 01:00 causing massive amounts of destruction.

Of the 138 hangars on the field, 65 were obliterated, 61 were fine, and 12 were damaged. N6500E was in probably the most-heavily damaged of those 12, right on the edge of total destruction.

On March 9, 2020, I was able to actually lay a hand on the aircraft for the first time since the damage. And on March 10, Kevin Lancaster of True Flight Aerospace made the trip to Nashville to load and transport N6500E back to Valdosta for repairs (I helped with the disassembly and loading).
